Dear Bully,
I’m sorry I could not be your friend
For whatever I did to offend.
I must have said something unkind
I apologise if I ever whined.
I didn’t mean to make you look bad
I wouldn’t hurt you or want you to feel sad.
I know I look a lot different to you
I’m part of the minority, one of a few.
I may be unusual but I really do try
I understand I need to stop being so shy.
I didn’t want to portray you as being cruel
I’m ever so sorry for being such a fool.
Please let’s try to turn this situation around
Maybe a new friendship can be found.
This time I’ll try not to be so weak
I’ll try to be cooler and less of a geek.
Please accept my apology…

A super perception of how a bullied child must feel. Great writing.

It’s sad that we often miss the signs of bullying. It must be so horrible to feel like this.
