A teacher starts to become worried about a little boy in her class who seems increasing quiet today. Joe, a normally chatty boy who involves himself in everybody’s business, is today sitting at the back of the class and hasn’t muttered a word. The teacher decides to have a word with him before he goes out to break.
Teacher: Are you OK Joe, you’re very quiet today?
Joe: Miss, can I get into trouble for something that wasn’t my fault?
Teacher: Of course not Joe.
Joe: And can I get into trouble for something I didn’t do?
Teacher: No you can’t Joe.
Joe: Well then, I’m really sorry but I didn’t do my homework because my little brother wouldn’t let me!
