Gone too long

Don’t be gone too long

Your voice I’ll miss

Telling me how much you love me

Whispering promises of pure bliss.

Don’t be gone too long

Your smile I require

Warming my heart with it’s mere presence

Formed on those lips I so desire.

Don’t be gone to long

Your arms I need

A security blanket wrapped up around me

Imprisoning me never to be freed.

Dont be gone to long

Your laugh I crave

Filling up my world with excitement

Beautiful memories to cherish and save.

Dont be gone too long

Your heart I seek

The gentle rhythm of it beating against me

Melting my boundaries making me weak.

Dont be gone too long

It’s you I yearn

Return quickly into my arms, my love

I’ll be waiting anxiously for your return.
