Don’t take food from strangers!

A bus driver notices an old lady is attempting to run so that she can get on his bus. Being the nice guy that he is, he waits at the bus stop for her to catch up. She is extremely grateful and thanks him…

Old Lady:  Why thank you young man, I would have got late to my doctor’s appointment.

Bus Driver:  No problem.

She searches her bag for something to offer the bus driver as gratitude.

Old Lady:  Would you like some plain peanuts? It’s all I’ve got left.

Bus Driver:  Yeah sure, I haven’t had my lunch yet. I’m starving!

He happily takes some peanuts and starts eating them…

Old Lady:  You can have the rest of the pack if you like?

Bus Driver: (munching away) OK, if your sure you don’t want them?

Old Lady:  Oh no, they’re too hard for my poor teeth.

Bus Driver:  (talking with his mouth full) Why do you buy them then?

Old Lady:  Well… I just can’t resist the chocolate that they come covered in !!!
