Exercise!
You either love it or loathe it!
Me… I loathe it!
I understand I need it to stay fit and healthy. But do I enjoy it? Definitely not!
By exercise, I mean sweating it out in the gym, be it on the treadmill, cross trainer or by weight training.
It took a lot of convincing for me to join the gym. After the first session I realised I shouldn’t have done it!
In fact, I realised I was actually allergic to it… My skin became flushed, I was sweating a fever and I was having difficulties breathing because my heart was racing so much! I’ve never had such a dangerous episode before!

So I thought I’d better try a different form of exercise, my own interpretation…
I’ve taken up running. I run from my bed to the toilet and then back again! I also run from the sofa to the kitchen at least 5 times a day. I’ve definitely managed to increase my speed over time, that’s fitness progression!
I’ve also worked out my favourite form of exercise is a cross between a lunge and a crunch… Some might call it lunch! The good thing is that preparation is easy and the end result is always satisfying!
Whilst on my fitness journey, I’ve come to the realisation that I’m really good at burning calories… I always get distracted when cooking dinner and end up burning it!

I believe experts are trying to fool us by telling us we need to exercise. Whales swim all day and only eat fish but are still fat, or should I say ‘big boned’! That’s constant exercise! And on the other hand – tortoises never run or do anything energetic and they can live for over 400 years!
Alongside my new exercise routine, I’ve also tried to diet. However I’ve come to the conclusion that things just aren’t going to work out between us. And this time I can say ‘it’s not me, it’s you! … Your tasteless, boring and I can’t stop cheating on you!’ I’d rather stop this relationship now before we get in too deep!

So, are you a fitness fanatic or do you make up your own health rules? Let me know by leaving a comment below…
Be happy, whatever that means for you!
Suki… X
I don’t like to exercise either. But if I don’t, I won’t maintain my weight, or lose the pounds I’m trying to take off. So I go for walks. I go slowly, at a leisurely pace. I don’t push myself to speed walk–which would be boring too much trouble. I also started doing easy yoga in a class. My favorite part is the end of the class when we do sound therapy and meditation. For those parts, I can just sit there. It’s my reward for moving during the first part of the class.

Lol, I’m not crazy about the act of exercising either, but I do like how I feel once I do it!
