Dressed to impress

Why did it take so long for women to start playing football? Not only football but hockey, basketball and other team related sport. It’s got nothing to do with their ability because they put so many male professionals to shame. They are good! And they play fair, there’s less foul play and they definitely throw around less abuse to fellow sportswomen. But there is a more significant reason why woman are still reluctant to join a team… Because women hate having the same outfit as another woman on a special occasion!Β

Maybe managers need to change the rules as far as the uniform is concerned, I’m sure women can stick to the team colours but find different styles??? But then we’d hit another major issue –Β wearing the same outfit over and over! We don’t do that! We can’t do that! We can wear an outfit twice maybe thrice maximum, after that it’s gone; handed down or donated to the charity shop.

Let’s move on to driving… It makes sense why men make better drivers than women. Firstly, we need to be careful which shoes we are wearing as our pencil heels are not always practical. Men are lucky because all their shoes are flat! They don’t have to take on this added burden of footwear choice or even of keeping a comfortable pair of shoes in the car. But seriously… How do you expect a woman to focus on the road when you give her so many mirrors?Β Yes we get ready at home but what you might not realise is that makeup looks different in real light, so where better to check it but in the car? Its perfect with all those mirrors, we can check front view, side views and even rear view! It’s just perfect!

Yes women have their flaws.

Yes woman have their priorities.

Yes woman can be very vain.

But behind every great man is a woman – so respect our priorities as your own.

This is a humour post, not intended to offend anyone. If you liked what you read, I will be following shortly with another humour piece… this time directed at men!

Keep laughing!

  19. First, the really important news — I laughed my butt off coming to your first joke, the reason women took so long to team up in sports.

That said, your post put me in mind of a fact that kind of alarms me. For the past few years, the more I’ve seen of the mess men are making of this world, the more I like women and wish they were running things. Maybe that’s me channeling my favorite ex-CEO – my mom!

Don’t get me wrong, though, I’m not saying all women are angels. Just as a group, you know…

      1. I’m insulated from such men these days — at least excepting now and then on the internet. But offline, I’m no longer in any position in life where I need to worry about being involuntarily thrown in with folks I don’t like. Last time I had an obligation to play friend to someone I didn’t much care for was at least a decade ago. Please excuse me for a moment. I must take a break to do a happy dance.
