The Invisible Man turns good

Welcome to my blended story. I would like to thank Sneha from A Piece Of Me for responding to my last story about The Invisible Man with a fantastic story idea, which has prompted this story…

The Invisible Man woke up one day wanted to do something good. He was growing tired of being naughty all the time so thought he would try something different but he didn’t know where to start. He decided to take a walk and see if inspiration arose.

He wondered the streets looking out for any situations where he could help and he found a few.

He helped an old lady across the road, even though the lady then collapsed from fright after having been pulled by an invisible force. He helped a young mum collect her groceries after her carrier bag split, even though the mum raced off and didn’t want to take home the haunted shopping. Then he found his next source of helpfulness when he saw a teenager looking extremely anxious…

The boy informed The Invisible Man that it was his end of year exams and he was really worried he wouldn’t pass even though he had studied so hard! He asked if The Invisible Man could find a way to help him and of course The Invisible Man agreed. After all, that was his mission of the day. They walked together into school then the boy took his seat in the hall whilst the Invisible man had a sneaky look around. He managed to find the answer sheet on the teacher’s desk! Perfect, he thought,ย this was going to be really easy…

Throughout the exam time, The Invisible Man went back and forth from the answer sheet to the boy and told him all the answers. He was awfully smug with himself, finally his good deed has played out.

The teacher called out at the end of the exam time and all the children put their pens down. Relief that the exam was over, was evident on their faces. Then the teacher asked all children doing ‘paper 1’ to bring their answers sheets to the front of the hall. The boy stayed seated.

WHAT? PAPER 1? The Invisible Man was shocked, what paper did I give the boy the answers too, he wondered. He watched as the children brought their papers forward and made a pile on the teachers desk. Then the teacher put the answer sheet he had been reading from on top of that pile!

The invisible man turned white from shock and embarrassment! (Not that anybody would have noticed) Then he ran out of the school grounds as fast as he possibly could, vowing to never try to help anybody again…

It just goes to prove – Cheaters never prosper!!!

That’s good stuff. Maybe the invisible man should help the thieves. There he can be useful. Nice way to teach kids though.
