I’ll Keep fighting

Β© 2019 Poem by Baffledmum (Suki Matharu)

It’s not always easy to stand by someone who keeps pushing you away. It’s often easier to walk away from that person to save your own sanity… But staying and fighting for someone, with someone who is suffering inside, will strengthen your bond to a whole new level.

Depression, stress, anxiety can take over people’s lives so quickly and without reason. Look out for the signs and allow people in to offer support….

Suki… X!

  4. I just learned that defiance can be motivated by the greatest compassion. What a beautiful thing to learn from a beautiful person. And how far you’ve come, Suki! How far you’ve come! Just last night I heard it through the grapevine from a traveling salesman out of Philadelphia, that as a girl walking to school each day, you would go steps out of your path to stomp on any ants you spotted. Suki, I’m proud of how far you’ve come from your core values!

Nice one…no matter how life is people must find a way of stop stressing whether is through going to church or just attending regular counseling, you don’t go for counseling only when you have a problem but even if you are happy and making huge decision about your life.

  6. Thinking about your post just a little bit more (It’s worth so much more thought than I have time to give it today), I can see how it raises the question of when we ought to try to change someone and when we ought not to try to change them. Briefly, I think it all depends on whether the changes we urge on them tally up to their being truer to themselves.

    Does that make any sense?

Very beautifully poem!! πŸ’• It really speaks to the fact of knowing when to walk away because a person is toxic or when when to just stay and be there for them because their pain isn’t geared towards you but something much deeper. Great post !!

So true! I loved this. LIke others have said, it is so important to recognize when someone isn’t deliberately causing you pain but their causing you pain is a refelction of their own pain.
